How hotel booking works

  • Reach out with your destination, dates, and what you’re looking for, and I can recommend options and pull quotes.

  • Send me the property and your dates, and I’ll see what rates and preferred partner perks may be available.

  • Send me the details and I can check whether the property is part of our preferred network and whether I may be able to enhance your stay.

Hotel booking is complimentary. Hotels pay travel advisors a commission for eligible bookings, so there’s no added advisor fee for you.

Prefer to book it yourself? For participating properties, I may be able to send you a personalized booking link so you can reserve directly while still accessing eligible advisor perks.

The Process

What to expect when we work together

  • Fill out my inquiry form with the basics of your trip. I’ll review it and respond within one business day to confirm fit and next steps.

  • We’ll connect by phone or Zoom to talk through your priorities, preferences, and what matters most to you. Once any applicable planning fee is paid, I’ll get started.

  • I'll research the destination, evaluate hotels and routing, connect with trusted partners when appropriate, and develop an initial trip proposal. You can typically expect your first proposal within 10 business days, depending on the complexity and length of the trip.

  • You'll review the proposal and send me your feedback. Your planning service includes up to two rounds of revisions, so we can fine-tune the trip together.

  • Once you approve the itinerary, I'll move forward with the reservations I'm handling. Nothing is booked until you have approved the option and any applicable pricing, cancellation policies, and deposit requirements.

  • As your trip approaches, I'll make sure your confirmed arrangements are organized and you have everything you need before departure.

  • If a problem arises involving something I've booked, I can help advocate on your behalf and coordinate with the appropriate supplier or local partner.
